Recently, employees teamed up with pet welfare organization Bideawee as part of Time Warner's employee volunteering program, Impact. Bideawee has been sheltering, adopting, and medically treating animals in New York for more than 100 years.

Time Warner hosted two teams, one focused on cats and the other on dogs, and took photos and videos for Bideawee to use on its website and social media platforms. Team Impact cleaned facilities, blanketed cages and enjoyed some quality time with the animals.

"We enjoyed our time volunteering a few hours and making a difference for these furry friends," said Alex Tapnio, Associate Manager, Corporate Responsibility at Time Warner. "Bideawee is an inspiring organization, which shows unconditional care for any cat or dog in any medical or physical condition."

The organization gets its name from the Scottish word for 'stay a while,' which refers to the fact that Bideawee is a no-kill shelter. One of the shelter's mascots is a three-legged, paraplegic cat who needs constant care, which Bideawee provides without question.
