Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism recently announced the winners of its 2016 Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University Awards. The HBO received two awards – one for its documentary Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief and another for the Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel expose "The Price of Glory."
The duPont Awards honor outstanding broadcast, digital and documentary journalism, looking for excellent reporting in the public service, evidence of commitment to important stories and innovative storytelling.
