So, what you really want is to direct a TV series? Well, here's your chance.

The application process is open for the 2016 Warner Bros. Television Directors’ Workshop. The WBTV Directors’ Workshop aims to prepare directors from other disciplines (feature films, music video, commercials) for the transition to episodic TV, as well as to seek out fresh, new diverse voices from within the creative community, with a goal of providing increased opportunities to women and ethnic minorities.

For 12 weeks, participants join in weekly sessions aimed at teaching new skills associated with pre-production, shooting, and post-production. Additional optional components include cinematography workshops, acting classes and the opportunity to shadow directors on an episode of a Warner Bros. show.

This year, the workshop runs from May to August on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank, California. Interested candidates can submit application materials until the deadline of February 11. Additional information can also be found on the Workshop's website, Twitter and Facebook.
