HBO and Turner Receive Seven Peabody Awards

The University of Georgia's Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication announced the winners today of its 72nd Annual Peabody Awards. Two of Time Warner’s divisions, HBO and Turner Broadcasting, received a total of seven awards, which will be officially presented at a luncheon ceremony on Monday, May 20, at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York. The Peabody Awards, the oldest in the broadcasting industry, recognize excellence and meritorious work by radio and television stations, networks, webcasters, producing organizations and individuals.
