On Saturday, April 27 in New York City, as part of the Tribeca Film Festival's Tribeca Talks® Directors Series, director Darren Aronofsky led a Q&A with Clint Eastwood following the world premiere of Richard Schickel's Eastwood Directs: The Untold Story (see photos below).

The unprecedented new film explores Eastwood's signature style, dissecting the skills that have ensured his four decades of success. Martin Scorsese, Meryl Streep, Gene Hackman, Morgan Freeman and many others offer their insights from working with Eastwood over the years.

Rolling Stone reported that when asked by Aronofsky how he still has passion to direct, Eastwood said, "Sometimes when you are not in production, you think, ah, I’m about to take some time off or something, but then the moment you pull the trigger on one shot, you are kind of going, 'Ok, I’m ready, let’s go.' You’re ready to charge the hill, and right through the picture.”

Eastwood Directs: The Untold Story is featured in two new comprehensive Eastwood Blu-ray/DVD collections, The Clint Eastwood 40 Film Collection (DVD) and The Clint Eastwood 20 Film Collection (Blu-ray), available June 4 from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
