It's been a good week for Adult Swim. Last Friday, basic cable’s #1 network with young adults (for eight consecutive years) announced its 2013-2014 lineup of original programming (ever heard of Mike Tyson?), pilots and returning favorites. And on Wednesday evening Hip-Hop superstar Kanye West performed at Adult Swim's annual Upfront at NYC's Roseland Ballroom.

This year's Upfront comes on the heels of the network's most-watched year-to-date among adults and males 18-24, 18-34 and 18-49.

“As Adult Swim continues to grow and be the place for great comedic talent as well as surprising and unexpected content, it is important that we expand its development of original programs so that we can build on its success even more,” said Stuart Snyder, President and COO of Turner’s Animation, Young Adults & Kids Media Group, in a press release. “The record ratings the network is experiencing this year is a testament to the great work being done by all the wonderfully talented people at Adult Swim.”

The 2013-2014 lineup features eight new originals, nine pilots and 16 returning favorites. Among the newcomers: Mike Tyson’s Mysteries, which is already getting a lot of buzz. Read what the Huffington Post and NJ.com had to say about the animated comedy.

Executives, Adult Swim stars and a slew of famous faces attended this year's Upfront, including comedian Aziz Ansari, actress Lake Bell (Childrens Hospital), actor Kevin McHale, actor Lionel Boyce (Loiter Squad) and many others.
