Industry executives gathered at the Council of Urban Professionals (CUP) 5th Annual Media & Entertainment Forum last week at the Eventi Hotel in New York City. CUP is dedicated to connecting, empowering and mobilizing the next generation of diverse business and civic leaders.

Time Warner is a longtime supporter of CUP and was one of the sponsors of the Media & Entertainment Forum this year (along with HBO, CNN and others). Former Time Warner CEO Richard "Dick" Parsons served as the keynote speaker. In an interview with Time Warner's Lisa Garcia Quiroz, Senior Vice President, Corporate Responsibility and Chief Diversity Officer, the current senior advisor at Providence Equity Partners Inc. discussed his career, business experiences and how he got to where he is today.
