This weekend, Warner Bros. was honored with nine wins at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Film Awards. Gravity topped six categories – more than any other film – including a best director nod for Alfonso Cuarón and Outstanding British Film (see Cuarón and David Heyman discuss their big win in the video below).

The BAFTA Film Awards, which recognize the best work of any nationality seen on British cinema screens during the preceding year, were held on Sunday at London's Royal Opera House. In addition to Gravity’s wins, The Great Gatsby was honored with awards in Costume Design and Production Design, and Cate Blanchett won the award for Leading Actress in Blue Jasmine, which the studio distributed in select overseas territories. Will Poulter, star of the studio’s 2013 release We’re the Millers, was also honored with the Orange Rising Star award.
