Turner Broadcasting announced its Media Camp Class of 2014 today. Five startups will take part in this three-month program based in San Francisco where they will work one-on-one with digital, television and film executives to complete an in-depth curriculum on media-centric topics through workshops and mentoring.

The members of the 2014 class include: AdTonik, a TV audience extension platform for mobile devices; Contextly, a company that combines editorial curation with machine learning to create content recommendations for readers to build a loyal and engaged audience; Flawk, which creates a unique user experience by coordinating a brand’s online following with synchronized media, fan-curated topics and one-on-one interactions; Locket, an Android lock screen app that brings content users are interested in to the locked screen based on user patterns; and Watchup, which creates a personalized newscast experiences for users on select mobile devices.
