The CW Upfront Delivers New Shows

16 May 2014 - By TW Staff

Yesterday, president of The CW Mark Pedowtiz introduced advertisers to the network's slate of new and returning shows, including three new dramas and one new comedy—two of which will have fall debuts.

The week kicks off on Mondays with the return of The Originals at 8 p.m. followed by the new series Jane the Virgin.

Tuesdays mark the pairing of the highly anticipated The Flash at 8 p.m. (see the extended trailer below), and the return of the long-running hit Supernatural at 9.

Wednesdays feature Arrow and The 100, with returning hits The Vampire Diaries and Reign on Thursdays.

The week's original programming wraps up on Fridays with back-to-back episodes of Whose Line Is It Anyway? followed by America's Next Top Model.

Coming in 2015, we can look forward to iZombie (from Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas) and The Messengers, about a group of people linked after a mysterious object falls to earth and explodes, possibly signaling the beginning of the Apocalypse.
