It's that time of year again when people of all ages dress up as their favorite super hero, villain or otherwise leading character and flock to southern California for a long weekend of panels, screenings, workshops and celebrity sightings. I'm talking about Comic-Con International: San Diego, of course.

Never ones to disappoint, Warner Bros., Turner and HBO are bringing unparalleled new and fan-favorite content to the annual convention, which runs July 24-27. See below for my expertly curated Top 10 list of not-to-be-missed Comic-Con happenings and then check the full schedule here for even more goodies.

No. 1 – For the fifth consecutive year, Warner Bros. and Comic-Con teamed up to produce the official bag of SDCC (see images below). This year there are 13 different collectable bags featuring WBTV's Arrow, Constantine, The Flash, The Following, Gotham, iZOMBIE, The Originals, The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, Mike Tyson Mysteries and Teen Titans Go!  plus two bags celebrating DC Comics' Batman in honor of the Caped Crusader's 75th anniversary. Make sure to get yours when you check in!

No. 2 – On Friday afternoon, Westeros comes to San Diego with the Game of Thrones Panel and Q&A. Craig Ferguson will moderate the panel featuring executive producers, writers and showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss along with series stars Gwendoline Christie, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Natalie Dormer, Kit Harington, Rose Leslie, Rory McCann, Pedro Pascal, Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams. Get the full line-up of Game of Thrones events here. If you're not attending SDCC this year, HBO Connect is covering the events live for fans near and far.

No. 3 – The new Warner Bros. film Into the Storm hits theaters August 8, but fans will be able to go into the eye of the storm first-hand at SDCC with a 4-D immersive Oculus Rift experience. And it's no ordinary thunderstorm we're talking about here:

No. 4 – On Saturday evening Oliver Queen himself, Arrow star Stephen Amell, will serve as the master of ceremonies at "A Night of DC Entertainment". This three-hour event features the world premiere of Gotham, a screening of The Flash pilot and exclusive footage from the new series Constantine and season three of Arrow. Cast and producers from all four series will make appearances through the night and this Comic-Con first is definitely not to be missed.

No. 5 – TNT is bringing three of its action-packed summer series to SDCC this year. On Thursday, Legends stars Ali Larter, Morris Chestnut and Tina Majorino along with executive producers Howard Gordon and David Wilcox will be on-hand for a screening and Q&A session.

The Last Ship is also making its Comic-Con debut on Thursday with a panel featuring stars Eric Dane, Rhona Mitra, Adam Baldwin and Charles Parnell with executive producers Hank Steinberg and Steven Kane.

Returning for its fourth year, Friday's Falling Skies session will include a preview of upcoming episodes plus the world premiere of the trailer for the upcoming Falling Skies video game. Series stars include Noah Wyle, Moon Bloodgood and others will be in attendance.

No. 6 – You're invited to the first ever Royal Ball of Ooo Thursday evening at SDCC. Wear your favorite Adventure Time-inspired outfit and enjoy screenings, prizes, a world premiere and more. Princess Bubblegum promises a ball of royal awesomesauce.

No. 7 – Sookie and the gang are in-house Saturday for the True Blood panel and Q&A at 5 p.m. Chris Bauer, Kristin Bauer van Straten, Anna Camp, Nelsan Ellis, Stephen Moyer, Anna Paquin, Nathan Parsons, Carrie Preston, Sam Trammell, Rutina Wesley and Deborah Ann Woll are scheduled to appear. The autograph signing is earlier in the day (2 p.m.) at the Warner Bros. booth, so don't miss it.

No. 8 – On Saturday morning, Warner Bros. is giving fans a look at three upcoming movies: Jupiter Ascending, Mad Max: Fury Road and The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. Me thinks this will be a popular session, so get there early.

No. 9 – Take the stage at The Regular Show Rock-a-Thon Saturday evening. Join Cartoon Network for an hour of classic and brand-new episodes. And be ready to perform for a chance to win prizes.

No. 10 – Last but not least, don't forget to pick up the special Comic-Con edition of TV Guide Magazine. This year's edition features four sets of collectable flip covers showcasing Arrow, The Flash, The Following, Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, Constantine, Gotham and a celebration of Batman's 75th anniversary. See all of the covers in the photo gallery below. The special issue is available at the Warner Bros. booth at SDCC and on newsstands and digital platforms now.
