Earlier this week Time Warner employees kicked off the holiday season by volunteering at the Food Bank for New York City. Reporting to the food bank’s distribution warehouse in the Bronx, volunteers helped sort and package food and prep boxes for delivery.

Food Bank for New York City is the city’s largest hunger-relief organization. Every weekday, food is collected, stored, repacked and distributed to the food bank’s network of more than 1,000 community-based food distribution programs throughout the five boroughs.

In total, Time Warner volunteers helped pack 1,450 pounds of food! The food will be distributed to soup kitchens and food pantries across New York City.
