An Inherently Good Time

A little vice is a good thing, especially when it's courtesy of Paul Thomas Anderson. Inherent Vice—the director's seventh feature film, which he adapted from the novel by Thomas Pynchon—premiered last night in LA, the perfect setting for Pynchon's trippy, late-60s psychedelic-noir romp.
