Time Warner Impact volunteers took a break from the holiday bustle and spent the day at St. Francis Food Pantries & Shelters in New York City, prepping for and helping out at the organization’s annual holiday party for needy families in the community. Volunteers decorated the room with snowflake glitter, paper snowmen, balloons and, of course, candy canes. They also helped serve a hot meal to the families in attendance.

Santa stopped by the party to hand out early Christmas presents to all the children, which was made possible thanks to St. Francis' toy drive. Children also enjoyed face-painting, balloon sculpting and sing-alongs led by the volunteers.

St. Francis offers a number of volunteer opportunities throughout the year. New Yorkers should visit the St. Francis Food Pantries and Shelters website to learn more.
