Last week, Time Warner was well-represented at the annual Entertainment & Media Conference held by Harvard Business School on a wintry day in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Among the day’s panelists were: Ron Sanders, President, Warner Bros. Worldwide Home Entertainment Distribution; Bernadette Aulestia, HBO’s Executive Vice President of Domestic Network Distribution; and Rachel Lam, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Time Warner Investments.
The day-long event was themed “The Business of Creativity” and concluded with a keynote interview of Time Warner Chairman and CEO Jeff Bewkes, conducted by Henry McGee, Senior Lecturer of Business Administration at HBS. McGee and Bewkes were longtime colleagues from McGee’s 34-year career at HBO—straight out of HBS in 1979—that concluded in his retirement as President of Home Entertainment to return to his alma mater.
