HBO Leads Creative Arts Emmys (Again)
Over the weekend, the Television Academy presented the 2015 Creative Arts Emmy Awards, the first ceremony of the 67th Annual Emmy Awards. In addition to HBO's 29 wins – once again more than any other network – Cinemax's The Knick took home one, Turner received nine, and Warner Bros. added four, bringing Time Warner's total to 43 Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
Game of Thrones led the pack with eight wins, including awards for production design, sound editing and visual effects. Bessie received that statue for Outstanding Television Movie and The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst won Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series.
Cartoon Network's first-ever miniseries, Over the Garden Wall, won the Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program, and Adventure Time topped the field in the Outstanding Short-Format Animated Program category.
