Last month, the Atlanta-based Turner employees came out in full force to give back and support the local community with Turner Volunteer Day 2015. The festivities started on the Turner Techwood and CNN Center campuses, where volunteers worked on various projects including making cards for the elderly through Meals on Wheels and Operation Gratitude, knitting blankets for children in the hospital through Project Linus, making sacked lunches for the Metro Atlanta Task Force for the Homeless and more.

Lunch was hosted by Turner CEO John Martin and HLN’s Robin Meade. After lunch employees headed to nonprofits around Atlanta working on various volunteer projects including landscaping at Piedmont Park, painting at Dad’s Garage Theatre, and cleaning kennels at Atlanta Pet Rescue.
