Creed Premiere Packs a Punch in L.A.
(Writer/Director Ryan Coogler, Tessa Thompson, Producer Sylvester Stallone and Michael B. Jordan seen at the Los Angeles World Premiere of Creed.)
We're not the only ones excited about today's theatrical arrival of Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema's Creed. The City of Philadephia—where the film was shot—has declared next Wednesday, November 25, Creed Day, and last night in Los Angeles, the cast and crew gathered for the film's world premiere at the Regency Village Theater in Westwood.
Starring Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed—the son of boxing great Rocky Balboa's fiercest-rival-turned-closest-friend, Apollo—and Sylvester Stallone returning to the role that made him a star, Creed follows Adonis' journey of self-discovery as he climbs out of his father's shadow with Rocky at his side.
