As if you weren’t excited enough for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we have a ground-shaking surprise for you. Thanks to South Korean company CJ 4DPlex, New York City moviegoers can experience the film like never before: in 4D.
That’s right, you read correctly.
Ground-breaking 4D cinema is hitting the mainstream market and coming to NYC's Regal Cinemas Union Square. The technology enhances the film with the addition of motion-activated seats, vibrations, and scents. In addition, different weather effects such as wind, fog, rain, lightning, and even snow can be featured while the film plays.
If tossing yourself into the midst of an epic superhero battle is your kind of date night, there's no doubt that the new 4D cinema is your go-to milieu for catching Batman v Superman.

Thanks to Warner Bros. Pictures and Omaze, lucky fans might hitch a ride with Batman himself in his most prized possession: the Batmobile. The partners introduced a new fundraising campaign benefiting three charities chosen by the stars of Batman v Superman. For as little as $10 in charitable donations, fans could win the ultimate Batman v Superman experience! Check out the details over at Collider and see the results below.
Amazon has also partnered with Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Comics for a new and slightly unusual promotion for the upcoming movie.
Utilizing the Amazon Echo or an Amazon Fire TV with Alexa integration, fans now have the chance to immerse themselves in the investigation into the mysterious death of Bruce Wayne’s parents.
“The Wayne Investigation” is a fully audio-based choose-your-own adventure game that's played with the help of Amazon’s Alexa technology. Alexa guides the player through different rooms, gives out valuable clues, and offers up to 37 different choices for players to interact with. The game features music, sound effects, and even other characters that will help solve the mystery.
The technology behind the promotion can be credited to Amazon’s Alexa Skills Kit, which allowed head writers from DC Comics and Zack Snyder’s production company to create this inaugural type of promotion using voice interactions and voice recognition.
After all of the fun is done, you and your new detective skills can ask Alexa about the local showtimes for Batman vs. Superman.

It’s March 1 and that means our countdown to Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice can officially begin.
In anticipation of the biggest hero rivalry since, like, ever, we're scanning the interwebs for the coolest tidbits about BvS, which premieres March 25.
First up, Jimmy Kimmel recently shared the exclusive deleted scene from the upcoming movie (see it below, starting around 3:30). It explains why Kimmel might not be allowed back in the city of Gotham. Ever again.
We think we know why this scene didn't make the cut. Let’s face it: Superman and Batman were worried Kimmel would steal their thunder. Sorry, heroes.
Oh, and lest you fear there's not enough "versus" in BvS, check this out:
