Quincy Jones, a 32-year-old comedian diagnosed with terminal cancer, was given the surprise of his dreams.
The comedian recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show to share his inspirational story and his wish to tape a one-hour stand-up comedy special. When Quincy returned to the show for a second time, Ellen surprised him with news that HBO would air his special. The talk show host also revealed that Shutterfly would give him $15,000 to produce the show.
The special will be taped at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles on April 4 and will debut on HBO this spring.
