For heavyweight political matchups, all eyes turn to CNN tonight as coverage of the highly anticipated Democratic presidential debate begins at 9 p.m. ET.
CNN’s Wolf Blitzer will moderate the debate live from Brooklyn, NY for the matchup between candidates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders as they face off at the Brooklyn Navy Yard's Duggal Greenhouse, the venue that was ultimately chosen after much “debate” between the camps over dates and location.
The candidates will take questions from Blitzer, CNN Chief Political Correspondent Dana Bash, and NY1 “Inside City Hall” Host and CNN Political Commentator Errol Louis.
The debate will mark a critical opportunity for both candidates as they attempt to win the April 19 New York primary. The outcome will be pivotal in the unprecedented (and unpredictable) 2016 race for The White House, and will mark the seventh presidential debate CNN has hosted during this election cycle.
Live coverage can be viewed on CNN and via live stream on CNNGo.
