HBO and Turner Score Big at Sports Emmy Awards

The winners of the 37th Annual Sports Emmy Awards were announced this week, and Time Warner divisions HBO and Turner scored a lot of gold.
Presented during a ceremony at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City, HBO and Turner won a combined 8 awards, including Outstanding Sports Journalism and Outstanding Serialized Sports Documentary.
Following a win last year, HBO’s Hard Knocks won two awards for Outstanding Serialized Sports Documentary and Outstanding Post-Produced Audio/Sound. David Scott of Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel took home the prize for Outstanding Sports Journalism, while Mayweather/Pacquiao: At Last received The Dick Schaap Outstanding Writing Award.
For Turner, Bill Raftery was honored with the Emmy for Outstanding Sports Personality-Sports Event Analyst, and TNT took home two awards in the creative arts by scoring Outstanding Studio Design/Art Direction for Inside the NBA on TNT as well as Outstanding Live Graphic Design for the 2015 NBA All-Star Weekend.
