In March, Time Warner Internal Audit held its 17th annual Global Conference at the Time Warner Center in New York.  Three days of internal training, networking and presentations from industry leaders and company executives kicked off with the presentation of the 2017 Chief Audit Executive (CAE) Award of Excellence, which is awarded annually to those whose contributions consistently exemplify the critical behaviors and skills necessary to provide world class internal audit services.

This year Senior Manager Ash Joshi received the CAE Award of Excellence.  Ash is based in Internal Audit’s Los Angeles office and has been with Time Warner for almost seven years.

“In my 6+ years with Time Warner Internal Audit, I have had the opportunity to learn about the company, especially about Warner. Bros.” said Joshi.  “I have worked with amazing individuals across all our offices. I am grateful to be surrounded by colleagues who are supportive, intelligent, and motivate me to do my best every day.,”

Ash’s Los Angeles office colleague, Katherine Houston, nominated her for the CAE Award this year, saying, “Ash consistently goes above and beyond to add value to the businesses she reviews.  This past year she partnered extensively with one of the Warner Bros. business units to access information security to help them develop a detailed roadmap to align with information and content security best practices.  This will have a meaningful impact on a significant and expanding part of our business.”  Time Warner CAE Steve Fiedler added, ”Ash is not only a very technically strong IT professional, but also a real pleasure to have on our team.  Her many contributions, particularly over the last year, have been instrumental in furthering the mission of Internal Audit by adding value through helping improve the operations of Time Warner.”

Highlights of the Global Conference included presentations by Howard Averill, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Time Warner; Doug Shapiro, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, Turner; Simon Sutton, President & Chief Revenue Officer, Global Distribution, HBO; Bruce Grivetti, Executive Vice President, Business Affairs and President, Film Programming, HBO; and Donna Speciale, President, Turner Ad Sales.
