‘Tacoma FD’ cast on fighting fires in one of America’s wettest cities
If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to be a firefighter, truTV's newest hit comedy “Tacoma FD” probably isn’t the most realistic representation on TV – but it’s undoubtedly the funniest. Lots of downtime spent trying to get along with co-workers in cramped, tight quarters. As you might imagine, this crew find all kinds of creative ways to amuse themselves!
They aren’t the only ones amused. Not surprisingly, “Tacoma FD” is the most-watched new cable comedy of the season with adults 18-34.
In this episode of “Between 2 Screens,” Ashley Golden, sr. director, original programming for TBS, sounds the alarm and assembles the cast of “Tacoma FD.” Eugene Cordero, Marcus Henderson, Gabriel Hogan and Hassie Harrison all report for duty. They chat about what it’s like improvising on camera with the masters, who’s got the biggest ego on set and how hard it was to keep a straight face while filming.
