This week, TBS, TNT and truTV announced new original programming, as well as several show renewals. The slate of programming for 2019 and 2020 was unveiled as part of WarnerMedia’s Upfront presentation that took place on Wednesday, May 15 at The Theater at Madison Square Garden.

TBS will broaden its programming next year by adding dramas on the network. “Snowpiercer” starring Jennifer Connelly and Daveed Diggs will debut after March Madness. The post-apocalyptic sci-fi series is so good, a second season has already been ordered prior to its premiere. Tracy Morgan and Tiffany Haddish’s “The Last O.G.” has been renewed for a third season, as well as Daniel Radcliffe’s “Miracle Workers” for a second season. The network is also greenlighting three new shows:

  • New comedy series “Chad” follows a 14-year-old pubescent Persian boy as he navigates his first year of high school on a mission to become popular.
  • “Full Frontal with Samantha Bee” Correspondent Amy Hoggart has been given her own half-hour show.

New shows for TNT include:

  • Ann Curry’s “Chasing the Cure,” a weekly multi-platform experience which uses the power of crowdsourcing in an effort to help people who are suffering from undiagnosed, misdiagnosed or uncured medical mysteries.
  • NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal’s “The Shaq Life” is a behind-the-scenes glimpse of how this towering mogul spends his post-season summer break.
  • The multi-platform launch of “All Elite Wrestling” offers fans of the sport a new experience for the first time in 20 years.

truTV ordered a third season of the Emmy-nominated series “At Home with Amy Sedaris,” along with new seasons of “Laff Mobb’s Laff Tracks,” “The Carbonaro Effect,” and “Adam Ruins Everything.” New shows for truTV include:
