truTV announces renewal of two laugh out loud comedies
“I’m Sorry,” starring and created by Andrea Savage, has been greenlighted for a third season. Savage plays a confident comedy writer, wife and mom, who always seems to find herself in hilariously absurd – yet relatable – situations that have resonated with fans since its debut in 2017.
When asked about the season three renewal, Savage said, “I am so, so thrilled to have another season to prove wrong the theory that just because you are a mom, you are not allowed to find buttholes funny. #godswork”
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a firefighter? Well, “Tacoma FD” helps give you an inside look… kinda. The hilarious comedy set in a firehouse – in one of America’s wettest cities, mind you – has been picked up for a second season. The show has been a solid ratings performer and was even dubbed “one of the year’s best comedies.”
After hearing about the season two renewal, “Tacoma FD” stars Steve Lemme and Kevin Heffernan joked, “While we realize this should be a time for rejoicing, our first thought is: ‘Damn, guess we gotta grow those mustaches back.’”
“I’m Sorry” season three and the second season of “Tacoma FD” are both slated to premiere on truTV in 2020. Missed out on the previous seasons? You can catch up on the truTV app, VOD and truTV.com.
