CNN International Commercial (CNNIC) took center stage at Europe’s biggest digital marketing event in Cologne, Germany, as part of its longstanding partnership as the event’s international media partner.
The main activation saw CNNIC participate in a high-profile panel session titled “Publishers – How are you doing?” The packed hall consisting of a key industry audience of brands, agencies, media owners and tech companies heard from Pippa Scaife, Commercial Director at CNN International Commercial, in a lively discussion on the current state of publishers with experts from global and local industry heavyweights such as the BBC and WSJ Barron’s Group.
CNNIC’s stage presence was complemented by an expert interview with DMEXCO.TV where Pippa elaborated on the evolution of CNN and importance of trust, the concept behind Great Big Story, and how brands can create deeper connections with consumers through purpose-driven marketing.
CNNIC’s activities at DMEXCO were preceded by a comprehensive content campaign on DMEXCO’s platforms which included a podcast interview about how traditional publishers are evolving as well as an opinion piece on the importance of trust by Tini Sevak, Vice President, Audiences & Data at CNN International Commercial.
