CNN's Love, Gilda Opens TFF

This past Wednesday, CNN Films presented the world premiere of Love, Gilda as the opening night film at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival at New York City’s Beacon Theatre.

The film, directed by Lisa D’Apolito, examines legendary comedian Gilda Radner’s life through journal entries, never-before-heard audio recordings and interviews with celebrities like Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Lorne Michaels and Melissa McCarthy.

Geostorming the Black Carpet

Warner Bros. Pictures' Geostorm held its premiere Monday evening in Los Angeles, with writer/director/producer Dean Devlin, stars Gerard Butler, Abby Cornish, Jim Sturgess and Talitha Bateman on hand to celebrate the suspense thriller's debut.

Set in a near future in which the world's extreme weather has been tamed by a global satellite system, Geostorm follows Butler as Jake, a scientist who, along with his brother (Sturgess) is tasked with solving a big problem: the weather-control system seems to be turning against us.

The Chocolate Factory Officially Opens

The chocolate fountain was flowing last night at the opening party for Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Lunt Fontanne Theatre in New York. The splendiferous new musical production from Warner Bros. Theater Ventures stars Tony-winner Christian Borle as Willy Wonka, John Rubinstein as Grandpa Joe and a rotating cast of young actors in the role of Charlie Bucket.
