Now, HBO COMEDY HOUR: JEFF FOXWORTHY: TOTALLY COMMITTED spotlights the superstar comic in his first HBO special, debuting SATURDAY, MAY 16 (9:30-10:30 p.m. ET). Taped at the Taft Theatre in Cincinnati this February, the stand-up special features Foxworthy's thoughts on marriage, children, family and growing old, as well as his signature observations on life in the South.

- Spending holidays with his in-laws, which he says "on life's list of pleasurable things to do comes in just below sitting in a tub full of scissors."
- Getting started in marriage: "My advice to men who are getting married: Don't be too attached to any furniture you have."
- The difference between what is said and what is meant with break-up lines: "One of my favorites is 'I need some space'... without you in it."
- The difference between sophisticated people and rednecks: "Sophisticated people have stock portfolios, rednecks buy commemorative plates. Sophisticated people have retirement plans, rednecks play the lottery. Sophisticated people go to auctions, rednecks have yard sales. Sophisticated people play chess, rednecks amuse ourselves for hours with a sheet of bubble wrap."
Besides headlining his own network sitcom for two years, Foxworthy has previously starred in two cable stand-up specials, and has received a People's Choice Award and an American Comedy Award.
