Carolyn Dailey heads Time Warner's European Public Policy Office based in London. She handles policy issues across Time Warner's four divisions - HBO, Turner, Warner Bros. and Time Inc.. - working to represent their interests with policymakers and other influential leaders.
Before moving to parent company Time Warner in 2002, Dailey headed Turner's International Public Policy operation from 1994, with responsibility for Europe, Asia and Latin America. Dailey originally joined the Time Warner family in 1990 with CNN in London where as European Counsel she helped drive the launch of CNN International and subsequently Turner's entertainment channels, Cartoon Network and Turner Classic Movies.
Previously, Dailey specialised in corporate finance and M&A at the international law firm White & Case, starting in their New York City headquarters before moving to their European headquarters in London. Previously, Dailey held Congressional staff positions in Washington, D.C. and a Corporate Communications post with Estée Lauder in Paris.
Dailey serves on the Board of Directors of First Light Movies, the UK's leading initiative enabling young people to realise their potential via digital film and media projects, and is a life-time member of BAFTA as well as a member of The British Screen Advisory Council.
Dailey has a JD degree Magna Cum Laude from Boston College Law School and a BA degree with Honours from UCLA and the Advanced Programme in French Language and Civilisation at the University of Paris (Sorbonne).
