Emerging FIFA Esports Stars to Make Late-Season Global Series Rankings Push at This Weekend’s ELEAGUE FIFA 19 Cup

Penultimate EA SPORTS FIFA 19 Licensed Qualifying Event Starts Tomorrow, May 4, at ELEAGUE Arena, with Live Coverage Beginning at 10 a.m. ET across Twitch & B/R Live

ELEAGUE will kick off live coverage of its second professional EA SPORTS FIFA 19 competitiontomorrowMay 4, at 10 a.m. ET, across Twitch and the B/R Live premium sports streaming service. The event will continue SundayMay 5, at 10 a.m., and feature 32 of the game’s elite players from around the world as they attempt to add Global Series Points and improve their rankings in order to qualify for the EA SPORTS FIFA eWorld Cup 2019 – FIFA 19’s definitive worldwide championship.
Players to Watch
With few Global Series Points standing between many of the top 50-ranked players across both PlayStation 4  and Xbox One, the ELEAGUE FIFA 19 Cup represents a rich opportunity for many of the game’s emerging phenoms. 

ELEAGUE will turn to an expert lineup of FIFA commentators for its live tournament coverage, including host Kevin EganJP Pillat on play-by-play and analyst Aaron West as they make their debuts at ELEAGUE Arena.  Analysts Mike LaBelleChu MorahDan Gaskin and play-by-play announcer Scott Cole will all return from the ELEAGUE FUT Champions Cup February.
Tournament Format
Players will contend for valuable Global Series Points, with the ELEAGUE FIFA 19 Cup Champion earning 850 points and the largest share of a $30,000 purse. The ELEAGUE FIFA 19 Cup will be the second-to-last Licensed Qualifying Event of the year, marking one of the final opportunities players will have to climb the Global Series Rankings and qualify for Playoffs and the FIFA 19 eWorld Cup.
